Notice the truck pictures are not new vehicles! They are real vehicles in use and not exactly clean. You should note that in 1964 the average Japanese could not even attain a passport! An automobile was for the rich, public transportation for the common folks. The Japanese were struggling to rebuild their economy at this time. The slogans used if you read today are definitely a time slip. One of the best is the engine pamphlet and it states "We will lead the world! With our three Diamond Brand" (Three Diamond means Mitsubishi)
